Accessibility Statement
This website is meant to be usable by everyone – regardless of physical or technical limitations. Although there is no legal obligation for this site to be accessible, accessibility matters to us. We therefore provide this statement voluntarily.
Current state of accessibility
The website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, level AA). Among the measures implemented:
- full keyboard operability, including visible focus indicators and a skip link to the page content
- screen reader support (alternative texts for images, labelled controls, a clear heading structure, status messages in the concert-date filter)
- sufficient colour contrast for text and controls
- flexible presentation: pages adapt to screen size and text enlargement
- no auto-playing media, no time limits, no flashing content
Known limitations
The website is not yet fully accessible in the following areas:
- PDF documents: The PDF files linked in the “Press & Speeches” section (interviews, speeches, articles) are mostly older documents and have not been prepared for accessibility.
- Video: We are currently clarifying the availability of captions for the embedded concert video. A text description of its content is provided directly below the video.
- Date archive: The concert-date pages of past seasons (2024/25 and earlier) still use an older page layout that does not meet all of the criteria listed above.
